Vattenfall will host public exhibitions in August to unveil the final plans for the reconfiguration of their previously approved Aultmore wind farm project in Moray, Scotland.
The initial 29MW project, sanctioned by Moray Council in 2014, has been modified due to advancements in turbine technology.
The updated proposal features 16 turbines with a blade tip height of 200 meters, increasing capacity to 105.6MW.
These changes could lead to a community benefit fund of approximately £18.4 million over its 35-year operational span.
Following earlier discussions in March 2022 about the preliminary design, Vattenfall aims to engage the community once more with the final design at the upcoming August exhibitions.
