A 90MW wind farm in Finland owned by landsbanken Wind Power Fund will be managed by OX2.
The Murtomäki wind farm, located outside of Pyhäjärvi, will be managed technically, commercially, and financially by the Swedish developer and operator of wind farms.
OX2 will offer “optimal asset performance” for the wind farm’s 15 turbines.
“We look forward to being responsible for the management of the wind farm with our high-quality full scope offer.
“Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund is a very active owner with a great interest in developing renewable energy whom we view as a strategic long-term partner,” said Lars Bryngelsson, responsible for technical and commercial management, OX2.
Ålandsbanken Funds investment director Juha Känkänen said: “Optimized wind farm operation is a key focus area for Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund.
“Through its tested analytical processes and wide reference base OX2 is well-positioned to provide the Murtomäki wind farm with TCM services that benefit our investors.”
This will be the eighth externally constructed wind farm for which OX2 TCM is in charge of technical and commercial management.
With a combined installed capacity of around 3.6GW, OX2 is in charge of the technical and financial administration of wind farms in Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, and Poland.
