Caspar Blum has been appointed as the European renewables lead in the vessel operator North Star.
This newly established position will focus on overseeing the company’s renewable energy initiatives in the European region.
Blum will be stationed at the Hanseatic Trade Center and will directly report to North Star’s CEO, Matthew Gordon, based at the company’s headquarters in Aberdeen, UK.
With his extensive background in the offshore sector, spanning over a decade, Blum will play a crucial role in supporting North Star’s efforts to capitalize on significant opportunities in the European market.
As more countries in the region seek to enhance their energy supply security through investments in offshore wind, Blum’s expertise will aid the company in maximizing these prospects.
Prior to joining North Star, Blum spent five years at Amplemann Operations, where he served as the area manager for sales and business development in Europe and Africa for 18 months.
His wealth of experience in the industry makes him a valuable addition to North Star as they expand their presence and activities in the European renewable energy sector.
