Lightsource bp has named Juan Luis Cantón as its new Country Head for Spain.
With more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Cantón joins the company and will continue to advance Lightsource bp’s expansion plans across the nation.
The company recently revealed the status of 19 solar projects in Spain that will generate an estimated €1.2 billion in local investment.
Fernando Roger, who is now the country head for Lightsource bp in Spain, will be replaced by Juan Luis Cantón. Fernando Roger oversaw the team’s growth from a start-up to a gigawatt-scale pipeline.
Fernando, a seasoned employee of Lightsource bp with ten years of service, will advance into a regional position as Director of Southern Europe.
