    Finance Manager – PFI Portfolio

    Location: Maidenhead

    Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Our client is a Leading Infrastructure Asset Manager and they are now looking for a new finance manager to join their team. The Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting connected with a portfolio of PFI projects. The job holder will deliver accurate and timely reporting that meets the requirements of statutory bodies, lenders and shareholders. They will also provide commercial support to the project management team.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Preparation of UK GAAP management accounts for Board meetings including commentary
    • Preparation of statutory accounts and audit liaison
    • Cash flow forecasting and treasury management
    • Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
    • Completing the 6-monthly model update process
    • Satisfying the reporting requirements contained in the project documents
    • Dealing with queries from third party shareholders and lenders
    • Preparation of Corporation Tax returns, VAT Returns and any other statutory submissions
    • Production of balance sheet reconciliations
    • Ad hoc projects and support for the concession management team
    • Safeguarding the assets of the relevant PFI project companies
    • Deputising for the Director where appropriate

     

    Skills/ Attributes

    • Qualified or experienced Finalist with a recognised accounting body
    • Confident user of Excel
    • Ability to work in an independent manner
    • Confident communicator with an ability to understand contracts
