A joint venture between Innovo Group and the Solarfields subsidiary SF Grid Parity will build 300 solar farms in Italy as well as two energy storage projects.
Innovo and SF both control 49 percent of the joint venture, Innovo SF.
The pipeline projects’ developer will be Solarfields Sette.
The initial pipeline consists of two storage facilities in Sicily with a combined capacity of 100MW and 18 solar projects being developed in Sardinia with a total capacity of roughly 83MW.
Solarfields Group received legal advice from Watson Farley & Williams about the joint venture and development agreement.
Innovo’s legal counsel was Legance.
