They are committed to making a positive and significant impact on climate change by investing in large-scale renewable energy projects. In November 2021 Low Carbon announced a new strategic partnership with US life insurance company MassMutal and plans to build a leading global renewable energy independent power producer (IPP) targeting 20GW by 2030. Murad is a seasoned renewable energy investor with an extensive track record of renewable energy platform build outs across Europe. He joins the business from DVP Solar GmbH having established and formed the business in Berlin, driving development across Poland, Austria, Netherlands and Nordics. Recent exposure includes utility scale ground mounted PV, Floating PV, Agri PV projects and Hybrid projects (PV + Battery storage) as well as green Hydrogen.
