Lightsource BP has chosen Albert Sein as their new head of business development for the Netherlands.
In this position, Sein will be responsible for leading and expanding Lightsource BP’s solar and energy storage initiatives throughout the country.
Previously, Sein gained extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in the development and optimization of projects in North America, while working for RWE and E.ON.
At RWE, he held the position of senior vice president of development optimization, where he successfully led a team of experts to support the company’s growth and greenfield targets while focusing on operational excellence.
While at E.ON, Sein served as the portfolio director of the Americas, where he focused on optimizing project costs to ensure the viability of the pipeline and led various continuous improvement projects.
As the head of business development, Sein will utilize his leadership abilities and strategic vision to further establish Lightsource BP’s presence in the Netherlands.
He will oversee the progress of an existing solar and storage pipeline of over 1GW, while also nurturing a highly skilled team based in the company’s Amsterdam office.
