For 320MW of solar projects in Italy, Canadian Solar and Green Power Europe have signed an agreement.
Following a global tendering process, the portfolio of solar projects, located all over Sicily and Sardinia, is being sold to Canadian Solar.
One of the largest solar pipelines currently on the Italian market, the portfolio consists of four development projects.
As per the agreement, once the projects are prepared for construction, Green Power Europe will complete the sale to Canadian Solar.
Green Power Europe’s sole financial advisor for the purpose of promoting and carrying out the transaction was Prothea, an independent financial advisor with experience in the Italian renewable energy sector.
