Lluis Noguera, the CEO of X-Elio, is set to take on the role of Global Head of Development at Brookfield Renewable, in addition to his current position.
In this new capacity, Noguera will offer executive guidance to all of Brookfield’s renewable development subsidiaries and lead strategic initiatives aimed at creating value across the entire portfolio.
It’s important to note that Noguera will continue to maintain full executive control at X-Elio.
Brookfield boasts a combined operational and development pipeline capacity of 160GW across wind, solar, hydro, and battery storage on five continents.
The company manages the world’s largest fund dedicated to achieving a net-zero transition, known as Brookfield Global Transition Fund I (BGTF I), which successfully secured $15 billion in funding in 2022. BGTF I is now fully committed, and a successor fund is actively fundraising in the market.
Brookfield Renewable serves as the flagship publicly traded renewable power company under Brookfield Asset Management, a prominent global alternative asset manager overseeing approximately $850 billion in assets.
