More than 150MW of solar power in the UK will be operated and maintained by Belectric under a new contract.
The framework agreement is with NextEnergy Solar Fund, WiseEnergy, the fund’s asset management, held a competitive tendering procedure that Belectric won.
With the three-year framework deal, Belectric will expand its O&M presence in the UK to include what is anticipated to be a portfolio of at least 10 solar farms with a combined capacity of more than 150MW.
The solar power plants, which have a capacity ranging from 5 MW to 34 MW, are spread over several counties in England, including Dorset, East Sussex, and Lincolnshire.
From late 2022, Belectric has been offering O&M services for the first three systems.

Around 1350 utility-scale power plants with a combined installed capacity of more than 1.8GW have used the technical due diligence, asset management, and monitoring services offered by WiseEnergy since its foundation.
Banks and equity financiers in the energy and infrastructure sectors make up WiseEnergy’s clientele.
