68MW PV is purchased by Octopus Renewables trust in England

The 68MW shovel-ready Breach solar farm in Cambridgeshire, England, has been sold by AGR Renewables to Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust for an undisclosed sum.

Additionally, 50MW of batteries are anticipated to be constructed at Breach.

The planned time for energization is in the middle of 2023. With Goldbeck Solar serving as the primary EPC contractor, the project is currently in the ready-to-build stage.

Konrad Aspinall, AGR Renewables co-founder, said “This is the second site in our 250MW advanced development pipeline offering a combined solar and battery solution aimed at supporting the generation of clean power and providing grid stabilisation.”

“We are extremely excited to have completed this transaction with Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust and look forward to supporting them with the project delivery and operations.”
